Deputy Chief Prosecutor Cui Yu of the Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate Third Branch reported on the major work of the Beijing Case Handling Base in 2024. The base released four typical cases of securities crimes that were strictly cracked down on in accordance with the law. In the whole year of 2024, a total of 72 cases involving 165 individuals of various securities and futures crimes were accepted, making it the top in terms of case handling volume nationwide. Strictly cracking down on securities crimes that seriously endanger financial security such as illegal disclosure of information and market manipulation, achieving precise "disarmament" through the rule of law in finance to help prevent and resolve financial risks. Especially in handling major sensitive cases, consciously taking the realization of the best case handling quality and efficiency as a specific measure of resolutely upholding "two safeguards," and turning cases into high-quality cases that can withstand scrutiny with a strong political commitment.
