Xingji Meizu statement: We have never planned to cut off the mobile phone business.

On May 15th, Xingji Meizu released a statement saying, "Recently, we noticed that several users on the Weibo platform have been spreading false statements about Xingji Meizu's business operations and Meizu products, causing negative impact on Xingji Meizu's reputation, brand value, and social evaluation." Xingji Meizu also mentioned in the statement that they have never planned to shut down their smartphone business. A blogger later reposted the statement and said, "I was wrong, I let my original fondness for Meizu influence me, I like 'Meizu' not 'Xingji Meizu'. I will apologize for spreading rumors and misinformation about 'Xingji Meizu', I will post a more formal apology later."
