Construction begins on Terminal 5 at Singapore Changi Airport.

On the 14th local time, Singapore Changi Airport held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Terminal 5. Terminal 5 will be equipped with automated and intelligent systems to improve efficiency. With over 70 boarding gates, the terminal will also have an underground light rail train system and will be the first to establish a transportation center at Changi Airport.
