The first provincial-level open-source Hongmeng manufacturing innovation center settled in Qianhai.

The Guangdong Open Source HarmonyOS Intelligent Internet of Things Innovation Center was recently inaugurated at the Qianhai Shekou area of the Guangdong Free Trade Zone, according to the Maritime Affairs Bureau. This is the first provincial-level open source HarmonyOS manufacturing innovation center in the country. Led by Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. and Chinasoft International Information Technology Co., Ltd., the center will focus on real-time computing, AI, and other core technologies around the open source HarmonyOS operating system. It will develop the M-Robots OS, a distributed heterogeneous multi-machine collaborative robot unified operating system that is highly secure, widely compatible, and real-time. The center will also establish a technology platform for the deep integration of open source HarmonyOS with robots, drones, smart manufacturing, smart logistics, and other high-end manufacturing industries.
