Australian stock market fell, mining stocks dragged the index down the most.
The S&P/ASX 200 index fell 0.1% to 8,268.20, ending a six-day winning streak. Mining stocks were the biggest drag on the benchmark index. Mining services company Mineral Holdings led the losses. The stock fell by as much as 24%, marking its biggest drop in over five years. The New Zealand S&P/NZX 50 index dropped 0.2% to 12,759.37 points.
