Modern cars are building the first factory in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles.

Modern Automobile Company announced on Thursday that the company has broken ground on a production plant in Saudi Arabia, which is its first manufacturing base in the Middle East, marking an important milestone in the company's global expansion. On Wednesday local time, Hyundai Motor Company Middle East (HMCME) held a groundbreaking ceremony at the Salman King Automotive Industry Park in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. HMMME is a joint venture established by Hyundai Motor Company and the Saudi Public Investment Fund with a 30-70 ownership ratio, and plans to start production in the fourth quarter of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, including electric and internal combustion engine models.
