Elon Musk's brain-computer interface company Neuralink will launch brain implant clinical trials in Abu Dhabi.

Neuralink Corp., a brain chip company led by Musk, has announced plans to launch its first clinical trial in the Middle East. The company stated on social media that they will be researching "how individuals with movement and speech disorders can use thought-controlled devices for communication." The trial will be conducted in collaboration with the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, at the Abu Dhabi branch of the Cleveland Clinic. Neuralink has stated that the device has already been implanted in three patients and they are currently looking for more patients globally to further expand the scope of the trial.
