Nissan is considering cooperating with Honda and others to utilize the remaining capacity of its factories in the United States.

Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa revealed in an interview on the 13th that they are discussing a potential collaboration with Honda in the United States. The idea is to utilize the surplus production capacity of Nissan's US factories to manufacture vehicles for Honda. Nissan is also considering a partnership with Mitsubishi to jointly produce SUVs at Nissan's US factories.
