Zhijing Financial APP learned that in the past two years, securities exchanges in Europe and the UK have experienced their first IPO "winter", with many local companies choosing to list in the US or move their primary listing venue to the US in order to access a deeper pool of capital and higher potential valuations. Faced with competition from the US, the two major operators of Europe's main securities exchanges are stepping up their efforts to retain local companies' IPOs, challenging the common belief that companies listed in New York have higher valuations through marketing and research methods.
