Debang Technology subsidiary Taigeno: release research results on thermal interface materials, providing reference for the research and development of next-generation high-performance materials.
Today, the official WeChat account of Degang Technology's holding subsidiary Tajino announced that with the rapid increase in the density of integrated circuit components in electronic devices, the issues of energy consumption and heat generation are becoming more serious. Heat accumulation can lead to higher failure rates and impact the lifespan of electronic components. Developing anti-aluminum corrosion liquid metal composite materials from the perspective of material structure design has always been a challenge for the industry and academia.
In response to this, Tajino has collaborated with Professor Zhao Yunfeng's research team from Tianjin University of Technology. They recently published a research paper in Surfaces and Interfaces, discussing the preparation of gallium-based liquid metal composite thermal paste through a soft encapsulation strategy to achieve high thermal conductivity and resistance to aluminum corrosion from the perspective of the material's own properties.
Starting with improving the aluminum corrosion issues of liquid metal, the researchers used PDMS to encapsulate the liquid metal, resulting in a liquid metal thermal paste with high thermal conductivity, printability, and corrosion resistance. This effectively prevents the liquid metal from overflowing and flowing out, making it a valuable reference for the development of next-generation high-performance thermal interface materials.
