The spokesperson of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Chen Binhua, introduced that the batch of typical cases on safeguarding the rights and interests of Taiwanese compatriots released by the Beijing High People's Court selected representative cases that have been based on the court's judicial functions in recent years, serving to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese companies, as well as actively implementing the "36 judicial measures for Taiwan" of the Supreme People's Court. These cases involve aspects such as intellectual property protection, safeguarding labor rights, coordinating litigation and mediation, effectively resolving contradictions and disputes, efficient enforcement, convenient litigation services, etc. They reflect the equal protection of the legitimate rights and interests of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait by the people's court in the judicial field involving Taiwan, continuously implementing equal treatment, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of resolving Taiwan-related disputes, optimizing the market-oriented legal environment, actively serving the integration and development of both sides of the strait, and other efforts and achievements, creating a good legal environment for the employment, life, entrepreneurship, participation in China's modernization construction, and sharing the achievements of mainland development progress for the vast number of Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese companies in mainland China.
