The General Office of the State Council issued the "2025 Legislative Work Plan of the State Council".

According to the China Securities and Finance APP, with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, the General Office of the State Council recently issued the "Legislative Work Plan of the State Council for the Year 2025." The plan emphasizes the unity of reform and the rule of law, highlights legislative priorities, and aims to serve the overall work of the Party and the country through high-quality legislation. In promoting high-quality development and building a high-level socialist market economy system, the plan includes drafts of the National Development Planning Law, the Financial Law, and the Revision Draft of the Bidding Law; in strengthening government self-construction and promoting the rule of law, it includes the enactment of regulations on government data sharing and the revision of regulations on the formulation of administrative regulations; in implementing the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and building a culturally strong socialist country, it includes the draft revision of the Trademark Law and the formulation of regulations on promoting universal reading; and in improving people's well-being and enhancing the quality of life, it includes drafts of the Social Assistance Law, the Medical Security Law, and the Revision Draft of the Road Traffic Safety Law.
