Guangzhou Maritime College has been approved as a pilot unit for the construction of a strong transportation nation, making it the first in the South China region.

Recently, approved by the Ministry of Transport, Guangzhou Maritime Institute has become the first in South China and the 14th in the country to be designated as a pilot unit for the construction of a strong transportation nation, officially joining the ranks of the "national team" to serve the strategy of building a strong transportation nation. In the future, the school will work together with 13 other universities including Beijing Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Southeast University, Tongji University, Dalian University of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Jimei University, and Chongqing Jiaotong University to jointly establish an innovative matrix for the construction of a strong transportation nation.
