Li Jiachao leads a delegation to visit Kuwait.

The delegation led by Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, arrived in Kuwait on May 13th local time and commenced their visiting itinerary. Carrie Lam stated that Hong Kong, under the principle of "One Country, Two Systems", enjoys the advantage of internal connection and external communication. Hong Kong will fully utilize its role as a bridge for "bringing in" and "going out", complementing the advantages of mainland Chinese enterprises, while also working vigorously to deepen international exchanges and cooperation. He welcomed the Kuwaiti government and businesses to utilize Hong Kong as a "super connector" and "super value-added person", to jointly explore new opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative, for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
