Analysts believe that economic interests are the main consideration for Trump's visit. Richard Haass, President of the American think tank Council on Foreign Relations, stated that the focus of Trump's visit to the Middle East is to "do business." Filas Maksoud, Director of Middle East and North Africa research at the American political risk consulting firm Eurasia Group, also believes that America's economic interests are the main consideration for Trump's visit to these three Gulf countries. However, some analysts point out that even if the US signs "big deals" with these countries, there are doubts about how much of the massive agreements on paper will actually materialize. Some agreements have complex implementation processes and may take many years to show significant results.
