The latest survey conducted by Bank of America on global fund managers shows that investors' exposure to the US dollar dropped to a 19-year low in May. Currently, about 17% of investors are reducing their holdings of the US dollar, the highest level since May 2006. The May survey also shows that 40% of investors are looking to increase protection against the depreciation of the US dollar. The percentage of investors who believe the US dollar is overvalued has decreased by 12 percentage points compared to the April survey, with 57% now holding this belief, marking the largest monthly decrease since September 2023.
