On May 13th, the infrastructure department under Singapore's Keppel Corporation announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Huawei to collaborate in the field of renewable energy solutions, focusing on photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage system technologies. This collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy solutions in Asia and other major global markets. The statement mentions that both parties will jointly explore the design and development of innovative photovoltaic and battery energy storage solutions for specific projects, including interconnected grids in the ASEAN region, low-carbon data centers and industrial parks, as well as digital energy management for hybrid energy systems.
