The Xikang High-speed Railway's entire line of 20 tunnels has been completely connected.

On May 13th, the Qinling Jiutianshan Tunnel of the Xikang High-speed Railway, constructed by the Shaanxi company of the West Chengdu Express and built by China Railway Seventh Bureau, successfully broke through. This marks the completion of all 20 tunnels on the Xikang High-speed Railway. The Xikang High-speed Railway, which crosses the Qinling Mountains, has a total length of 171 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed and opened to traffic, it will significantly shorten the time and space distance between the Guanzhong urban agglomeration and the Qinba Mountains in southern Shaanxi, facilitating travel for residents along the route and playing an important role in rural revitalization in the southern Shaanxi Qinba Mountains area.
