Multiple positive factors pushed up the shipping index futures, which closed up more than 5% during the day session.
During the daytime trading session on May 13, the main contracts of domestic commodity futures showed mixed gains and losses, with the Shipping Index Futures strengthening again after hitting the limit up yesterday. By the close of trading at 15:00, the Shipping Index, Styrene, Butadiene Rubber rose more than 5%, while Bottle Slice, PTA, and Short Fiber rose more than 2%. Rubber, Fuel, and Shanghai Aluminum rose more than 1%, while Stainless Steel, Caustic Soda, and Asphalt saw slight increases. On the other hand, Glass, Rapeseed Meal, and Shanghai Gold fell by more than 1%, while Corn, Silicon Iron, and Coke experienced slight declines.
