Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam led a delegation to Qatar and achieved 35 cooperation outcomes.
According to the news from the Hong Kong SAR Government Information Services Department, on May 12th local time, Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam led a trade delegation composed of entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and mainland China to continue their visit to Qatar. Government departments, companies, and institutions from Hong Kong, mainland China, and Qatar exchanged and announced 35 memorandums of cooperation and cooperation agreements covering economic cooperation, investment, technology, legal cooperation, as well as financial, banking, and capital market development. Two agreements were reached directly between mainland China and Qatar companies, and they will cooperate on financial services and high-end manufacturing. In addition, Hong Kong, mainland China, and Qatar also reached a tripartite agreement to jointly promote cooperation in financial technology.
