Avita Legal Department: has filed a civil lawsuit against the self-media "Zurich Earl" and is seeking 10 million RMB in compensation.
Avita Technology Legal Department issued a statement on its official Weibo today, stating that yesterday, the self-media "Zurich Beyler" took quotes out of context and distorted facts in the so-called apology video he released, claiming that the mass-produced car tested for wind resistance by Avita was a prototype car. This deliberate act aimed to create confusion in public opinion, further misleading the public about the test results and our products, causing further damage to our brand image. Avita has filed a civil lawsuit against this and demanded an immediate halt to the infringement, as well as compensation of 10 million RMB for economic and reputational losses. For other online users and self-media spreading rumors and defaming, we reserve the right to pursue their legal responsibility. The Internet is not beyond the law, and we will continue to use legal means to firmly defend the legitimate rights and interests of the company and users against rumors, defamation, and slander.
