SoftBank Group released a report stating that it achieved quarterly profits, driven by strong demand for artificial intelligence, which supported the valuation of startups and sales of its chip subsidiary, and boosted its active data center investment plan. The company, headquartered in Tokyo, reported a net profit of 517.18 billion yen for the fourth fiscal quarter, higher than the 231 billion yen in the same period last year. For the fiscal year ending in March, SoftBank's net profit was 1.15 trillion yen, compared to a loss of about 228 billion yen in the previous year.
