On May 11th, CCTV reported that there were various violations in the health examination process for chefs, delivery workers, caregivers and other professionals at certain hospitals, making the regulations and rules appear to be non-existent. The Health Commission of Shenyang City announced on May 13th that after on-site inspections, it was found that Shenyang Kangmin Hospital and Liaoning Province Health Industry Group Huachen Hospital were engaged in illegal practices of issuing health certificates without personal examination by a physician. Huachen Hospital also violated the core system of medical quality and safety (verification system). The local health departments have ordered Shenyang Kangmin Hospital and Liaoning Province Health Industry Group Huachen Hospital to immediately stop conducting health checks for professionals and to initiate legal proceedings for administrative penalties in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Next, the Health Commission of Shenyang City will organize a self-inspection of all health examination institutions for professionals in the city, while also conducting special supervision inspections for such institutions, focusing on violations such as issuing health certificates without examinations, incomplete examination items, non-standard examinations, and failure to implement verification systems. Any illegal activities discovered will be dealt with strictly according to the law.
