The Shenyang Health Commission reports on the chaos of "health certificates" issuance: the hospital involved has been investigated and handled.

On May 11, CCTV reported that there were various violations during the health examination process for chefs, delivery drivers, caregivers, and other workers in some hospitals, and the rules and regulations were just empty words. The Health Commission of Shenyang City issued a notice on May 13 stating that after on-site verification, Shenyang Kangmin Hospital and Liaoning Health Industry Group Huachen Hospital had engaged in violations by not having a doctor personally examine and issue health certificates, and Huachen Hospital also had violations for not implementing core medical quality and safety systems. The local health authorities have ordered Shenyang Kangmin Hospital and Liaoning Health Industry Group Huachen Hospital to immediately stop health examinations for workers and will investigate and prosecute them according to the law. They will also conduct self-inspections of all health examination institutions for workers in the city, and carry out special supervision inspections focusing on violations such as issuing health certificates without examinations, incomplete examination items, non-standard examinations, and failure to implement verification systems. Any illegal activities found will be strictly investigated and dealt with according to the law.
