The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) stated on Monday that it has conducted a special inspection of the Quad Cities Generating Station in Marseilles, Illinois after discovering that safety-related vacuum breakers were not functioning. This nuclear power plant, which consists of two units, is operated by Constellation Energy.
