The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Monday requested Tesla to answer questions about its plans to launch a paid Robotaxi service in Austin, Texas in June in order to evaluate the performance of its fully autonomous driving technology in harsh weather conditions. The NHTSA stated in a letter that it has been investigating Tesla's fully autonomous driving collision events in low visibility situations since October.
