The account also posted in the comments section "the other party wanted to extort 1.3 million RMB... the person was forced to death," causing social concern. Our bureau attached great importance to this and quickly launched an investigation. On May 11, the police confirmed through phone and video calls that the blogger Sun did not commit suicide. To address public concerns and ensure the personal safety of citizens, on May 12, the police went to another province to meet with Sun in person and investigate the situation. It was found that Sun fabricated the false information of "committing suicide and passing away" due to a moment of impulse, and pretended to be relatives and friends in the comments section to create a negative social impact. Sun's actions are suspected of fabricating facts and disturbing public order, and the public security organ has filed a case for investigation according to law. Regarding the "extortion and blackmail" situations reflected by Sun in the comments section, Sun claimed to have been falsely accused and insulted by netizens and asked for money, but did not transfer the money and blocked and deleted the other party, nor did he report to the police.
