According to the Wise Finance APP, the Federal Reserve released the "April 2025 Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey on Bank Lending Practices" this week, showing that in the first quarter of 2025, U.S. banks continued to take a more cautious stance on lending to businesses and households. The report pointed out that overall corporate credit standards are tightening, loan demand is weak, especially in the areas of commercial and industrial (C&I) loans and commercial real estate (CRE) loans.
