However, due to recent inquiries from shareholders and the media, the Group has made the following response: Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited hereby declares that the transaction will never take place under any illegal or non-compliant circumstances. The relevant provisions were explained in the announcement on March 4, 2025: "The completion of the transaction depends on the fulfillment of a series of conditions, including the approval and consent of legal and regulatory authorities, the absence of any violation of law or legal prohibition, obtaining the necessary approval of the company's shareholders, and other appropriate and customary conditions as stipulated in the final documents."
