Apple has initiated a new round of price reductions for iPhone, this time affecting offline channel distributors. It is reported that on May 10th, Apple issued a pricing adjustment notice to channel distributors, and distributors began adjusting prices yesterday. A reporter visited two different channel distributors in Shenzhen on the 12th and found that the Apple iPhone 16 series did indeed begin to reduce prices yesterday, with the highest reduction amounting to 1400 yuan. Some products in Apple's official offline Apple Store retail stores are eligible for national subsidies, but there are no additional price reductions. It was observed that compared to the maximum price reduction of 1400 yuan at offline Apple authorized stores, some e-commerce channels have even larger discounts on iPhone 16, with some products priced 2000 yuan lower than on the Apple official website. With the price reduction of the iPhone 16 series, some models of the iPhone 16 Pro, originally priced above 6000 yuan and not eligible for national subsidies, can now qualify for them.
