In the first quarter of Inner Mongolia, the cumulative call charging amount of new energy storage increased by 420% year-on-year.

According to the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in the first quarter of 2025, the total accumulated charging power of new energy storage in the entire region reached 730 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 420% compared to the same period last year, and the total accumulated discharging power reached 630 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 446% compared to the same period last year. The improvement in the level of new energy storage utilization provides strong support for Inner Mongolia to accelerate the construction of a new type of power system with new energy as the main component.
