Huawei and UBTECH have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to cooperate on smart devices and humanoid robots.

On May 12th, it was reported that Huawei and UBTECH officially signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. The two parties will carry out innovative cooperation in product technology research and development, scenario application, and industrial system development in the fields of embodied intelligence and humanoid robots. It is reported that by leveraging Huawei's technological innovation capabilities such as Ascend, Kunpeng, Huawei Cloud, and large models, as well as Huawei's experience in research and development, production, and supply, combined with UBTECH's full-stack humanoid robot technology advantages, they will accelerate the efficiency improvement and replication of humanoid robots from laboratory innovation to industrial, household and other scenarios. Huawei will rely on its full-stack AI infrastructure capabilities to support UBTECH in building an embodied intelligence innovation center, and jointly create a "humanoid robot + smart factory" demonstration solution based on scenarios, and cooperate in developing household service humanoid robots.
