Trade tensions eased, and shares of mining companies listed in the UK rose along with the increase in base metal prices. The UK Metal and Mining Index rose by 5%, reaching the highest level since March 31. Glencore's share price rose by 6.4%, Anglo American Resources Group by 6.4%, Rio Tinto by 4.5%, and Antofagasta by 5.6%.
