Shares of mining companies listed in London rose as trade tensions eased. These mining stocks led the early gains in the UK's FTSE 100 index, with shares of Glencore and copper miner Antofagasta rising nearly 7%. Anglo American rose by 6.4%, while Rio Tinto rose by 5%.
