The 2025 Remanufacturing Industry Development Conference was held in Tangshan, Hebei.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that the Center for the Development of Environmental Protection Industry in the Mechanical Industry held the 2025 Remanufacturing Industry Development Conference in Tangshan, Hebei on May 7. Representatives from government departments, industry associations, research institutes, and enterprises attended the meeting. Comrades from the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended and spoke at the conference. The Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization focused on promoting the high-quality development of the electromechanical products remanufacturing industry, introduced the work situation in policy and standard formulation, industry standard management, etc., and exchanged views with everyone on strengthening collaborative cooperation, promoting technological research and development, accelerating the application of results, and interpreting the "Industry Standard Conditions for Remanufacturing of Electromechanical Products." Experts, scholars, research institutions, and so on, who attended the conference gave specialized reports on topics such as the in-service remanufacturing of process equipment, the application and development trends of remanufacturing technology, and the promotion of remanufactured electromechanical products in countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative. Various regions and companies introduced their experiences in the development of remanufacturing industry clusters, the development and industrialization of laser remanufacturing technology, and conducted on-site visits to remanufacturing projects such as turbine blades, compressors, and turbine rotors.
