Hong Kong dollar interbank rates are also almost all falling sharply, with one-month interbank rates falling for the fifth consecutive time to 1.92%.

According to the Securities Times app, on May 12, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates also dropped almost across the board. Among them, the overnight rate fell slightly to 0.07167%, the lowest since June 13, 2022. The one-month interbank interest rate related to mortgages has fallen for five consecutive days, reaching 1.92321%, the lowest since September 7, 2022. The three-month interbank interest rate, which reflects the cost of bank funds, fell by 13 basis points to 2.65066%, the lowest since August 30, 2022. The six-month rate was 3.01167%, the lowest since August 9, 2022. However, the one-year interbank interest rate ended its four-day decline, rising to 3.26393%.
