Recently, Vidda officially issued a statement stating that on November 1, 2021, the "Vidda Official Weibo" account posted a poster image, and the court determined that the statements in the image such as "meihas problems", "meihas losers, only God", "meihas tricks, only bullies", "meihas huge profits, only discounts", "meihas fake cost-effectiveness, only hexagonal warriors" have obvious correspondence with Xiaomi, which may lead the public to believe that the "" refers to Xiaomi, damaging Xiaomi's reputation and constituting commercial defamation. Ju Haokan Technology Co., Ltd. specially issued this Weibo to eliminate the impact. It is reported that Vidda is a sub-brand under Hisense Group, mainly focusing on smart TVs and home entertainment products. The brand has released several posters in 2021 mentioning controversial slogans such as " has problems", " has losers", " has tricks", " has huge profits", " has fake cost-effectiveness". Subsequently, Xiaomi sued Vidda, and in March 2024, the first-instance judgment ruled in favor of Xiaomi. The court ordered Ju Haokan Company to post a statement on the top of the "Vidda Official Weibo" account for seven consecutive days to eliminate the impact of the commercial defamation behavior towards Xiaomi, and compensate Xiaomi for economic losses of 500,000 yuan and reasonable expenses of 50,000 yuan.
