In March 2025, during a routine internet security check by the Internet Security Brigade of the Jinchuan Sub-Bureau of the Public Security Bureau of Jinchang City, Gansu Province, it was discovered that a real estate salesperson in the jurisdiction illegally provided personal information such as the names, contact numbers, and addresses of homeowners registered at the sales office to a certain individual named Fang, who then sold the relevant personal information to Cao, Zhao, Song, and 8 others engaged in house renovations for illegal profits. Currently, the local public security organs have lawfully punished the individuals involved.
