The Haikou Municipal Transportation and Port and Harbor Authority issued a statement on the evening of the 10th, stating that due to the impact of thunderstorms and strong winds, there will be gusts of 8-9 levels on the sea surface of the Qiongzhou Strait from the night of the 10th to the morning of the 12th. Starting from 23:00 on the 10th, the Xiuying Port, Xinhai Port, and the South Railway Port in Haikou will suspend operations. It is expected that the suspension will last until the morning of the 12th, and during this period, no vehicles will be allowed to cross the sea.
