In the patent litigation between Innosilicon and Infineon, Innosilicon won jurisdiction.

According to the reporter, there is new progress in the patent litigation between China's third-generation semiconductor company, InnoScience, and the international chip giant, Infineon. The Supreme People's Court ruled in the final judgment to reject the jurisdiction objection appeals from Infineon's Chinese and Wuxi companies, and confirm the jurisdiction of the Suzhou Intermediate People's Court in the case. In January 2025, InnoScience Technology Co., Ltd. announced the lawsuit against Infineon's Chinese and Wuxi companies, as well as Chipwo Company for patent infringement. Infineon raised objections to jurisdiction, but it was rejected by the Suzhou court in the first instance. Infineon later appealed to the Supreme People's Court.
