On May 10th at 8 o'clock, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued a daily weather advisory: Yesterday, heavy precipitation mainly occurred in the central part of North China, the southern part of South China, among other areas. In some areas such as the central part of Hebei, southern Beijing, western Shandong, southern Guizhou, southwest Guangdong, southeast Guangxi, eastern Hainan Island, and eastern Taiwan, there were heavy rainfalls, locally heavy downpours. It is expected that today, there will still be heavy rain or heavy downpours in southeastern Yunnan, southern Guizhou, and the southern part of South China, with locally heavy downpours and strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation and thunderstorms. Tomorrow, the above-mentioned areas will basically see an end to the rainfall. Due to the influence of precipitation, the temperature in the central and northern parts of North China and the northern part of the Huang-Huai region dropped sharply yesterday, with a temperature drop of 6 to 10 degrees Celsius, and locally over 12 degrees Celsius. It is expected that today, the temperature in the above-mentioned areas will gradually rise again. In the next two days, in some areas of North China, the central and southern parts of the Huang-Huai region, the maximum temperature will rise to above 30 degrees Celsius. The public should pay attention to temperature changes and adjust their clothing accordingly.
