Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank President Bostic said that he supports the decision this week to keep interest rates unchanged, given the uncertainty of trade policy and increasing economic risks. "Uncertainty remains widespread in the current economy, and business people have told me and my colleagues that they expect this uncertainty to persist longer than they had anticipated earlier this year," Bostic said. "I do not believe that adjusting monetary policy in such a murky situation is a prudent move."
