According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on May 9th, the General Administration of Customs and 5 other departments issued a notice regarding the adjustment of customs special supervision areas, bonded supervision sites, and management measures related to processing trade outside the zone. It mentioned that for goods subject to retaliatory tariffs and other measures, which have been excluded from additional tariffs and applicable exclusion measures, they can be imported into existing bonded accounts. However, if the goods are also subject to other measures, they are excluded. Enterprises within customs special supervision areas using tax-free equipment during the customs supervision period to undertake commissioned processing business for corn, wheat, rice, and cotton provided by outside enterprises do not require inspection and export permits when bringing corn, wheat, rice, and cotton from domestic areas to the zone. The notice will be implemented starting from June 10, 2025.
