Two departments: around 34 cities will be selected for the third batch of pilot projects for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises by 2025.

According to the Intelligent Wealth Management APP, on May 9th, the General Office of the Ministry of Finance and the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the pilot work of digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in cities by 2025. Around 34 cities will be selected for the third batch of pilot work in 2025, and the pilot cities should be prefecture-level cities and above, including provincial capitals, other prefecture-level cities, and counties under the jurisdiction of municipalities directly under the Central Government. Cities that have been included in the first two batches of pilot projects are not allowed to apply again. The third batch of city pilot projects will be implemented for a period of two years, starting from the date of approval of the implementation plan.
