Hunan: By the end of 2025, over 90% of counties and cities will have established closely-knit county-level medical communities.

At a news conference on the construction of grassroots medical and health service system in Hunan Province held in Changsha on the 9th, it was learned that currently, 99 counties and cities in Hunan Province have implemented the construction of a close-knit county-wide medical community. By the end of 2025, more than 90% of counties and cities will have established a close-knit county-wide medical community to achieve the goal of "solving common diseases at the grassroots level." Luo Hui, member of the Party group and deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, introduced that Hunan Province is using standardized construction as the main focus to build a health service circle of "15 minutes in the city and 30 minutes in the countryside." Currently, 1965 township health centers and community health service centers in the province have reached the service capacity standards, among which 554 have been recommended by the national standards, 171 have been established as community hospitals, and 43 have been established as secondary hospitals.
