Gonzalo Duran, the President's representative for the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile, said on the 8th that a medical rescue plane that had gone missing on the 7th was found crashed in the city of Kura Kavi in the region, and all six people on board had died. Duran reported the accident to the Chilean media on the 8th, saying that the plane was originally scheduled to fly from Santiago to the northern Chilean city of Arica, but lost contact on the evening of the 7th.
