On May 9, the General Administration of Customs released data showing that in the first four months of this year, China's imports and exports with neighboring countries totaled 5.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%, with the growth rate accelerating by 1.6 percentage points compared to the first quarter, exceeding the overall growth rate of imports and exports in the first four months by 2.7 percentage points. Imports and exports with ASEAN and the five countries in Central Asia increased by 9.2% and 9.9% respectively. Lu Daliang, Director of the Statistical Analysis Department of the General Administration of Customs, said that in the first four months, China's imports and exports with 21 neighboring countries achieved growth, and China's comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries is deepening, with increasingly closer economic and trade relations.
