Zhaopin: By 2024, 55% of mobile talent will be distributed in the IT Internet, real estate, and manufacturing industries.
On May 9th, Zhaopin released the "China City Talent Attraction Ranking: 2025" report, which showed that in 2024, the characteristics of mobile talent were as follows: 61% of mobile talent were male, higher than the overall job seekers rate of 56%, indicating that males are still more likely to seek jobs in different cities; 67% of mobile talent were aged 18-30, higher than the overall job seekers rate of 61%, suggesting that younger talent are more likely to seek jobs in different cities; 54% of mobile talent had a bachelor's degree or above, higher than the overall job seekers rate of 47%, indicating that highly-educated individuals are more likely to seek jobs in different cities. From an industry perspective, in 2024, 55% of mobile talent were in the IT Internet, real estate, and manufacturing industries, a 0.5 percentage point decrease from 2023, with a higher proportion of talent seeking jobs in different cities due to factors like the real estate industry undergoing adjustments in recent years.
