A source close to Hema revealed that the store may close in the near future, and there will no longer be Hema X membership stores in the Beijing market. It is reported that some Hema X membership stores in Shanghai have also experienced similar situations. Since Hema announced the closure of 3 membership stores in Shanghai in March this year, there are only 5 membership stores left in the country. If the above-mentioned store closes, the layout of Hema X membership stores will once again shrink. At the same time, Hema is restructuring its business formats. On one hand, it is focusing on Hema Fresh and Hema Nb, continuously opening new stores; on the other hand, some resources and membership benefits of certain membership stores are gradually shifting to online through the Hema App's Cloud Sharing Club channel.
