LG Electronics is starting to build its third manufacturing plant in India, with an investment of approximately 600 million US dollars over the next four years.

LG Electronics India announced on May 8 that they will begin construction on their third manufacturing plant in the country, despite postponing their plans for a $1 billion IPO in India. This plant, located in Andhra Pradesh, will produce a variety of products including refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners, and is expected to start production next year. The statement mentioned that LG Electronics plans to invest around $600 million in the next four years to attract supporting businesses to the region, thus creating a white goods manufacturing ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.
